I remember friends telling me when Hunt was a small baby and maybe even before he was born, that I will NEVER be able to go to the restroom by myself anymore. Well time has proved that they were right. It hasn't just started, it's been ever since Hunt could crawl. I'm just bringing it up now because the other day both Hunt and hubs stood in front of me(while I'm trying to do my business)and carried on a conversation with me. And anyway when Hunt began to walk he would ALWAYS follow me into the bath. And when talking came into the picture he started bringing me toys. I guess I must have looked bored in there. He would bring them to me and say..."here mommy, toys"... Well times have changed a little bit now. He very seldom brings me toys. Instead he follows me in there, waits and then wants to see the "potty" followed by "I want to flush mommies potty". Good Lord! I've thought about shutting and locking the door, but I always want to be able to see and if not see at least hear Hunt. That and the fact that he would beat the door down trying to get in. Beside the constant..."mommy, open the door...mommy, mommy, mommy"... It's just easier to allow him to stand there and wait for me. I have however told him that it was "gross" and not very nice to ask to see some-one's potty. And the reward of flushing the potty goes to the person who used the potty. Zanny kids!!!
Ask My 3 Year Old..
Where do babies come from?
Hunt:I don't remember.(I don't recall ever telling him) In the past we have been asking him to say I don't remember on questions that he doesn't remember.
We didn't get to take Zoe to the doggie park due to rain the night before. Sorry Zo...maybe next time.
Saturday we didn't do much at all. Sunday we meet Steph and her family at a Indian Market(convention). I had never been so it was neat to take in all the Native American stuff. The best was the dancers and music. They had complete costumes/attire. Hunt enjoyed watching them and did a bit of dancing on his own. He was too cute. Afterwards we made a run to Decatur to eat at SweetiePies for my mom-in-laws B-Day. We meet the grandparents there along with my bro and sis in-law and baby M. We had a nice time. It was sweet to see baby M and Hunt playing pick-a-boo with each other. Baby M will be 1 on the 19th of April. Can't believe it, just can't believe it!
So I'm debating on making cookies again this year for our vacation to the coast. I know it seems unnecessary and silly, but they do turn out way cute(and are really yummy). They just take a while to make. The recipe I have is so perfect for cookie cutter cookies. They don't rise that much so the cookie shape does not get distorted. Check out a few that I've made in the past...
These cookies were made for hubs B-day earlier this month(crowns and pillows). He loves Crown Royal and I thought the cookies would be a pleasant change to a birthday cake. I even enclosed them in a cloth Crown Royal bag...
These cuties were made last Jan. for the Ft Worth Stock show and rodeo. They were almost too cute to eat...
Unfortunately I couldn't find the cookies I made last vacation...shucks...maybe I never down-loaded them...hummmm
Well that's about all that's been going on.
